OVERVIEW OF INDIAN BOLLYWOOD INDUSTRY:

Indian Film Industry is entertainment industry which is improving and growing attracting wide range of audiences day to day all over. India is among largest producers of films all over the world. Around 800 movies are produced annually but they are predictable to a certain extent. Part of Funding comes from National Film Development Corporation (NFDC). This Industry provides employment up to more than 6million people. In an Indian Film Industry there are variety of other film industry like Tamil, Telugu, Madrasi, Marathi, Gujarati and many more. The most popular among them is the Hindi film industry located in Mumbai known as Bollywood.It contributed to about 40% of total revenue of Indian film industry. Approximately 150 films are produced and released all over the world in bollywood annually. Many successful Hollywood actors like Kylie Minogue, Sylvester Stallone and Denise Richards have also worked in bollywood movies. Bollywood movies attract wide range of audiences not only in India but also in many countries like United Kingdom, Dubai, Canada, USA, Mauritius, and South Africa as they have Indian population. The Film Industry is growing spontaneously because of growing of middle class with higher income, change in life style and spending patters and innovations like increasing numbers of multiplexes, web-stores, online distribution, excessive promotions, advertisements, endorsements etc. Bollywood actors like Amitabh Bachaan, Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan are famous in various corners of the world.
