IMPLICATIONS:

In United Kingdom, State of Health Department is playing an active role to reduce smoking among population. Government had adopted various strategies to create social awareness among youth. NHS had played a vital role in reducing smoking in United Kingdom. The population of smoking will reduce from 21% to 10% in 2020 because of new strategies adopted by government which will facilitate wider range of options to reduce smoking. The Government will make proper utilization of various methods which will help to quit smoking likewise, replacement of nicotine and increase in age limit for tobacco consumers and will cautiously consider the case of plain packaging along with its visuals and textual warnings on the pack. The use of billboards behinds buses and distribution of pamphlets inside newspaper will help to create awareness among youths and will includes the harmful effects caused by excessive consumption of nicotine on health. Seminars should be arranged for youths to educate them and will also help regular smokers to overcome their problems. The above discussed literature states about harmful effects caused by excessive consumption of smoking on health and help us to understand how successful are visuals and textual warnings along with plain packaging which helps to reduce consumption of cigarettes among smokers. Pictorial visuals warnings should be clearer and it should properly be relate with the subject so that it would be very easy to understand.
