The most effective visuals and their views are discussed below:
During the end of discussions in SET B, some outcomes were positive and some were significantly more negative. The child wearing a mask had 23 positive and 7 negative responses. Similarly baby with a hospital apparatus had 21 positive and 9 negative responses. These 2 visuals were considered emotional, relevant and worthy. The visual of women with a skeleton had many negative reactions because of lack of understanding. Picture was man thinking on bed with headline that smoking is very addictive was not effective as respondent felt it does not matched with headline. The most appealing, striking and credible visuals were external tumor on the neck and spoil teeth with mouth.
Now moving to SET C, where there are pictorial visuals of warning on cessation support. The first visual of doctor checking blood pressure of patient with headline “Your doctor or your pharmacist can help you stop smoking” had many negative feedbacks from respondents. There were only 8 positive and 22 negative responses. The respondents felt that there was no direct link between doctor checking blood pressure and tag line. Secondly, it was not very clear. The second visual of two hands trying to hold each-other with headline “Get help to stop smoking” with an available helpline line number had 19 positive responses and 11 negative responses. Most number of people liked the tagline and help line number. Few people felt that it was not really helpful and formal.
